3:00 pm–4:00 pm

We take great delight in incidentally and unintentionally discovering meditative activities! Zentangling is one of those perfect opportunities to harness the impulse to wander wonderingly and channelize it into a work of art with barely any effort.

Zentangles are little doodles made on small squares or rectangles of paper by drawing structured patterns repeatedly. It requires no experience whatsoever, and goes a long way in nurturing our latent artistic spirit. Attendees of this workshop will learn the ten basic zentangle designs and make their own zentangles.

At The Alipore Post Offline, we'll put together a mural of all the zentangles that we make as a collective art installation that captures the best vibes of the Courtard House over the weekend.

The workshop is priced at Rs. 300. We'll bring all the materials, just bring over your best curious self!

Anyone above 18 is welcome :)

The workshop will be facilitated by Nithya J Rao, an award-winning theatre artist who has been on stage all her life. She is a purveyor of stories and has done really interesting work gathering and performing multi-lingual stories from across the country. While she's not theatrically occupied, she works with Lahe Lahe, a fantastic experimental space in Indiranagar to put together some of the most interesting workshops and participative performances around in Bangalore.
