Living Room Gatherings ft. Ankit Ranganathan

Thu, May 5, 2016,

6:30 pm–8:30 pm

Allow yourself the special luxury of listening to Ankit play out a forty minute set in a Koramangala Living Room. We'll have an opportunity to chat with him about his musical journey, learn about song-writing inspirations, ask him about a typical day in the life of a creative professional and soak up his abundant good vibes.

Ankit is a happy, positive person playing happy, positive music. A multi-instrumentalist, he'll find a way to make music from any object you throw at him. Ankit is the frontman of the popular city band, The Imaginary News, who play a happy brew of jazz infused, folksy rock n roll.

When he isn't performing, practising or making music, Ankit runs a music school in Whitefield, The Rock n Roll Foundation, Under his typically vibrant, but unassuming tutelage, the school has quietly grown to a hundred and fifty students.

The Imaginary News is on Bandcamp! Check out their last album, Time's On Your Side:
